Yes, Legacy is completely free to use! However, if you're a power user looking for more perks and exclusive benefits, we also have a premium subscription. This will remain optional though, so you can always do without the subscription and continue enjoying our core services at no additional cost.

Legacy uses GPS to provide real-time location updates, just like Google Maps. It constantly communicates with satellites to determine your precise location, which cost more battery than normal. If you want to reduce battery use while Legacy:

- Lock your phone: By not using the screen, you will use far less battery. Legacy will still track your location and progress in the background.

- Lower screen brightness: Reduce the screen brightness to the lowest comfortable level.

- Turn off background apps: Close other apps running in the background to conserve battery.

- Use power-saving mode: Enable your phone's power-saving mode to reduce overall power consumption.

Yes. Legacy protects your location data through encryption, both in transit and at rest, to prevent unauthorized access. Legacy also provides transparency and control, allowing you to delete your location history by deleting your account.
